G Foster is operated by George Foster. This notice explains how I use personal information you send through this website or by email.

Information I collect

When you make an enquiry, I may collect your name, email address, business name, website address, preferred timeframe, the services you are interested in, and the details in your message. Vercel also processes limited technical information, such as an IP address and request logs, to host and protect the website.

How and why I use it

I use enquiry information to understand your request, reply to you, discuss possible work, prevent misuse of the form, and keep an appropriate record of our correspondence. The lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and my legitimate interests in responding to genuine enquiries, protecting the website, and running the business.

Who receives it

The website is hosted by Vercel and enquiry emails are delivered through Google’s Gmail service. These providers process information on my behalf under their own security and data-protection terms. I do not sell your personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

International transfers

Vercel and Google may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, they are responsible for using a valid transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards under UK data-protection law.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become client work are normally deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. If we work together, relevant correspondence may be retained for longer where it forms part of the project, accounting, or legal record.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the use of your personal information, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
